Meet the jet plane of Nigerian singer Davido

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, bought a private jet. Davido, one of Nigeria's richest men, has already bought a Porsche N45m as a surprise birthday present for his girlfriend Chioma Avril. He acquired a Challenger 605 jet plane in May 2018.

A brand new Bombardier Challenger 605 sells for approximately $27 million. The Challenger 605 is part of a family of midsize private jets produced by  Bombardier Aerospace . The aircraft can accommodate 10 to 12 passengers in a standard configuration. Corporate customers, who often carry businessmen, superstars, or policymakers, especially appreciate comfort; therefore, Bombardier was particularly focused on cabin improvements.

It features an improved Ethernet-based management system, larger video monitors, an updated lounge area, more robust worktables and more LED lighting.

With a maximum range of 7,400 km/h, the jet is very flexible and allows it to fly over the most popular routes. So now, with a private jet, Davido will probably never miss paying for a flight to London again. He recalls that in May 2014, Davido hit the headlines and faced a backlash when he attacked the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) after missing his flight to London.
